Getzville Exempt Firemen's Association

The Exempt Association, is a group of long-standing members of the Getzville Fire Company who have fulfilled certain membership requirements in the active fire company and are eligible for benefits for their years of service. Members of the Exempt Association now put their experience into good use teaching others and supporting the active fire company membership in their efforts to protect the community.

Many Exempts actively participate in all aspects of Getzville Fire Company operations including many who actively contribute and train in fire fighting, rescue, EMS, efforts on a regular basis. Others put their energies into administrative duties and other important roles within the company.

Our Exempt firefighters dedicate themselves to looking out for the welfare and well-being all our brother and sister firefighters, active, exempt, or retired. Promoting the development and health of the volunteer fire service in the local community and throughout the state is also important to the mission of the association's membership.

Social functions, recreational activities, and many other opportunities and benefits are also enjoyed by our Exempt members.
